My engine splash guards kept falling off. Hanging and flapping when I drove down the road. I didn't know you could buy better after-market engine splash guards and after a bit of research online I stumbled across this Rad Rubber Designs. They are 3 times thicker and they have way better clips too!
Just got my Rad Rubber Fender Flaps installed. Very nice to have the mud flaps back on, and everything fit great, and were great quality.
Changed mine out yesterday, my old ones were brittle and falling apart. These are MUCH better quality and was a simple 15-minute install. Excellent product!
Perfect fit. I will take some pictures. But in the meantime you can add the Lexus GX470 to the list of vehicles the Splash Guards will fit! Thanks again for such a great product!
Hey man… Those splash guards are awesome. Blew away the factories and at half the price of factory replacements, it was a hell of a deal.
Thanks for making such an awesome product. This removed the rub on the 33+ Firestone MT tires. Saved me from a BMC.
Rad Rubber Design started in 2014 when FJ Fender Flaps were created to get rid of the annoying tire rub on my 2012 FJ. Then came replacement engine splash guards for the FJ… and we now have become the premier supplier for aftermarket engine splash guards for Toyota/Lexus trucks & SUVs.
To create the best products we can at a reasonable price and provide the best service so our customers become our greatest fans. We will always be open to new ideas and respond to… “can you make this?”
Where it all Started?
Rad Rubber Design actually started with FJ Fender Flaps. FJ Fender Flaps were designed specifically for the FJ Cruiser wheel well. The company started as a result of my getting new wheels and tires on my 2012 FJ. I had a 3″ lift but there still was a front tire scrape when making hard sharp turns. It wasn’t bad but it was enough to get me to look and see if I could eliminate the scraping. What I found was that the problem area was specifically a section of the inside of the factory mud flaps that extended in towards the tire.
